Kanavaranta 1 is the main venue of Helsinki Design Week 2022

Kanavarata 1 will be open to the public during the Helsinki Design Week festival 1.-11.9.2022.
During these 10 days the iconic “Sugar cube” will be the center of design under this year’s main theme “We are open”.

The top floors of the building will be dedicated to encounters, brainstorming and exchange of ideas. Restaurant Kuurna has been invited to cater on the top floor, and visitors can expect delicious dinners in intimate cabinets with the best views to the city. Guided tours, Artek wine bar & Weekly Talks

A wine bar, located on the top floor, will host a series of Weekly Talks
where interesting design and architectural topics will be addressed.

In addition Kanavaranta 1 will be introduced via guided tours. People can sign up for the tours on the Helsinki Design Weeks website.
